Practitioner Training

The Sound Healing With The Drum Practitioner Training Course is held over a year. It is suitable for those wishing to take their first steps onto the path of shamanic practice or for those more experienced to join a community to delve deeper into their own practice.

This course may be taken for your own personal healing and spiritual development, or taken further to offer sound healing with the drum to others. All modules and assignments must be completed for the fully accredited Sound Healing With The Drum Practitioner Diploma. A certificate of attendance is awarded for those not wishing to become a practitioner.

Based upon the frame drum, you can use your own drum (subject to approval for suitability) or attend a workshop to birth your own. You will learn techniques to build and strengthen your connection to your drum, yourself, nature and the unseen. Gaining deep listening skills to work with your drum and the world in which you live to cleanse, create balance and heal.

You will begin by looking within, connecting to and listening to your inner wisdom. Exploring your connections to your world, embracing your unique gifts you bring. You will then develop skills to connect with nature, being attentive to your needs and the needs of the natural world. As you grow, you will develop skills to support your wellbeing and the wellbeing of world in which you live. You will then have the opportunity to go further and develop your skills to offer sound healing to others as 1-1 or groups.

Limited to 6 people to ensure personal support and guidance.

More than a course, this path offers you insight and routines to enhance your day to day life. Walking together in support of one another to connect and heal.

Assessment: To fulfil the course certification requirements to become a practitioner of drum healing, the following assignments must be completed.

• A practical evaluation giving a drum healing.
• 18 client case studies and 18 drum journey case studies will need to be carried out and written up.
• 1 assignment (2,000 words or equivalent).
• Plus completion of 2 additional sound healing related workshops to become a full member of The College of Sound Healing.

Course Fee: £1,100 which includes all course materials and light refreshments. A non-refundable deposit of £250 at time of booking secures your space. 

Early bird discount, £1,000 if booked and paid in full by 31st March.

Options are available for payment plans to spread the cost over the year.

This fee does not include accommodation and you will need to organise this yourself if you are travelling a distance. A list of suitable accommodation can be provided upon enquiry.
